Tastings Notes

This rich infusion combines the smooth sweetness of pure maple syrup with the bold character of roasted coffee beans. Notes of dark roast, cocoa, and toasted nuts mingle with maple's natural caramel undertones, creating a balanced flavor that is both robust and approachable. The finish is smooth and lingering, with a subtle coffee richness that never overpowers.

Recommended Uses

A natural companion to coffee and espresso drinks, this syrup adds depth to lattes, cold brew, and cappuccinos. Drizzle it over ice cream, cheesecake, or brownies for a decadent dessert topping, or use it to elevate after-dinner cocktails like an Espresso Martini or Maple White Russian. It's also a delicious addition to oatmeal, yogurt, and baked goods.

Sourcing & Ingredients

INGREDIENTS: Pure maple syrup, Coffee beans

We start with 100% pure maple syrup sustainably sourced from sugarbushes in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest. Whole roasted coffee beans are steeped directly in the syrup, allowing their rich aroma and complex flavor to naturally infuse every batch. Crafted in small batches, each bottle delivers the perfect balance of bold coffee character and pure maple sweetness—without artificial sweeteners or preservatives.

Under the Bark is a family-owned and operated company rooted in the Minnesota. Our pure maple syrup is harvested exclusively from Wisconsin and Upper Midwest maple woods.

As masters of infused maple syrup, we craft unique flavor profiles by partnering with local growers and producers to source the freshest regional ingredients for every batch.

We believe in the power of "whole" ingredients. Our syrups are a natural, unrefined alternative to processed sugars–pure, simple and never compromised by artificial additives.

Shop small. Support local.

Under The Bark crafts small-batch, flavor-infused maple syrups sourced directly from the forests of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Founded by Austin and Madeline Miller, we celebrate the Upper Midwest by blending pure maple with whole ingredients. Wonderful flavor, toss out the store junk

Opened this one today, made pancakes this morning and all we could just say was "Wow! this tastes great." and we poured a little extra on. I would say the only downside is when you go to pour it out, the coffee beans all come out with it, I used a fork like a makeshift sieve.

Originally purchased it at the Edina fair a week ago and taste tested a few. went with two bottles and this was an absolute must in our taste testing.

Love it. How ever notices the flavor was not as pronounced on second use. used a sieve so as to not get the beans out. should I just let the beans poor out and disregard?
