INGREDIENTS //
2 Tablespoons Three Rivers Farm Habanero Maple Syrup
2 Teaspoons dried rubbed sage (not ground)
¾ Teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
½ Teaspoon salt
½ Teaspoon dried thyme
⅛ Teaspoon ground Nutmeg
1 Pound ground lean Turkey
2 Teaspoons coconut oil
DIRECTIONS //
1. In a small dish, combine maple syrup, sage, pepper, salt, thyme, and nutmeg. 2. Place turkey in a large bowl. Sprinkle spice mixture over meat and gently mix with clean hands, to incorporate spices evenly.
3. Divide into eight sections and shape into patties
4. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Add patties and cook, turning once; adjust heat as necessary to prevent over cooking.
6. Cook 4-6 minutes per side, until browned on both sides and cooked through (165 degrees on an internal thermometer). Serve hot.
