
These Crispy Ginger Maple Chickpeas are the perfect topping to your summer salad!
Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained.
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons Ginger Maple Syrup
Pinch of Salt
Start by rinsing and draining your chickpeas ensuring to get them as dry as possible. Spread out the chickpeas on a pan covered with parchment paper and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take the chickpeas out and drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt. Put the chickpeas back in the over and bake for another 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, take out the chickpeas and drizzle them with the ginger maple syrup and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove the chick peas from the over, let cool and enjoy as a topping on a salad!
