
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
6 tablespoons butter
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup Under the Bark Cinnamon Maple Syrup
Icing:
2 Tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup cinnamon maple syrup
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Mix together dry ingredients and set aside in a bowl. In a mixer, add the butter and sugar and mix until they are integrated . Add the egg yolk and maple syrup and mix some more. Slowly add in the dry ingredients mix ensuring that it all get fully mixed together. Once mixed, make the dough into small balls about two tablespoons in size and then chill for at least an hour. After the dough has been chilled, roll each of the balls in sugar and then bake for about 12 minutes at 350 degrees. After the cookies have cooled you can add the icing! Mix the butter, maple syrup, and powdered sugar until they are completely combined then drizzle over the cookies and enjoy!
